Privacy
This notice explains what personal information the Cavenridge Press website collects and how it is used. It covers only what the site does today.
Who is responsible
Cavenridge Press is a publishing name of Pausascript Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Company number 13455568. The data controller is Pausascript Limited. A registered-office address is not published here until the company has formally updated Companies House. Privacy requests can be sent to hello@cavenridgepress.com.
How to contact us
Use hello@cavenridgepress.com for general and privacy requests, or rights@cavenridgepress.com for rights and permissions. You can also use the contact form on this website.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, the page you signed up from, the time you consented, whether the requested guide was sent, and a download or unsubscribe token used only for those links.
- Contact form: your name, email address, message, the page source, and the time of submission.
- Technical request data used to operate the site and reduce spam, such as IP address and basic browser information processed by our hosting provider.
Why we use it
If you sign up, we email the requested free guide to the address you give us, through PausaMail, from hello@cavenridgepress.com. We also keep a simple record of whether that delivery was accepted, failed, or not yet attempted, so we can retry a failed send safely. Signing up also means we may send occasional Cavenridge Press publishing emails about our books and resources. We do not currently send an automated promotional sequence beyond the guide you asked for. The legal basis is your consent. We use contact-form submissions to reply to your message, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Where it is processed
- The website is hosted on Cloudflare.
- Form records are stored in Supabase.
- Email is handled through PausaMail. Public messages are sent as Cavenridge Press from hello@cavenridgepress.com.
What we do not do
- we do not sell personal information;
- we have not added Google Analytics or advertising tags;
- we do not currently set marketing cookies.
Consent and unsubscribing
Joining the list is optional. Guide emails include an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address by emailing hello@cavenridgepress.com.
How long we keep it
Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact-form messages are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed to complete a request or meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or to object to processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). To exercise these rights, email hello@cavenridgepress.com.
